And that is a wrap for the Philadelphia Eagles' 2024-25 regular season after taking down the New York Giants, 20-13, at home.
The Birds finish the year with a 14-3 record and their next order of business is to get ready for their first NFL playoff game as the No. 2 seed.
They initially entered Week 18 with two potential opponents: the Green Bay Packers (11-6) or the Washington Commanders (12-5).
However, after the Packers were upset by the Chicago Bears in the final seconds of the game, Philly is left hosting the No. 7 seed Cheeseheads in the NFC wild card round.
The Eagles may already have at least three advantages over Green Bay.
Not only does Philly get to play at home, but both Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love (elbow) and backup Malik Willis (hand/thumb) injured themselves in the loss to Chicago.
Love was cleared to go back in the game but the Packers opted against it. Still, if Love isn't 100 percent healthy enough to face the Eagles' defense next week, then it's a bad deal.
Additionally, the Eagles won't be left facing Packers star cornerback Jaire Alexander, who was sent to Injured Reserve on Saturday with a knee injury.
The Eagles vs. Packers game will be played on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Fans can officially purchase tickets at Ticketmaster.com on Thursday, Jan. 2 as early as 10 a.m. ET.
