Denver poses a lot of challenges for the Buffalo Bills. Their defensive front is one of the best in the league, generating the most sacks in the NFL. That front going against Josh Allen, the least-sacked quarterback in the league, will be a high-end battle of good on good.

That said, there's one statistical trend in particular that points to the Bills having a leg up on Denver. The Broncos haven't found hardly any success against good quarterbacks this season.

Denver enters the postseason with a 10-7 record. Their seven losses came at the hands of Justin Herbert twice, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Justin Fields (outlier), and Geno Smith.

Their 10 wins came against Baker Mayfield, Aaron Rodgers, a rotation of backs in Las Vegas twice, Spencer Rattler, Bryce Young, Kirk Cousins, Jameis Winston, Anthony Richardson, and Carson Wentz and the resting Chiefs in Week 18.

Mayfield is the best quarterback that the Broncos have beat this season, and his Buccaneers, like the Broncos, needed the last game of the regular season to make it into Wild Card Weekend.

Denver not being able to get past top-tier quarterbacks this year is certainly an interesting trend that the Bills will aim to continue. Josh Allen, neck-in-neck with Lamar Jackson in the MVP race this season, will be right up there with the toughest quarterbacks that they've faced. His ability to escape pressure, something that has been crucial to Denver's success, will have the possibility to limit one of their greatest strengths.

Allen can also slow down their potent pass rush with his legs — his ability to extend plays will be give the Bills offense an advantage in the passing game that the Broncos have only faced a handful of times this year, something that they've struggled with. There are a ton of factors that will play into the outcome of the game, but the quarterback trend is certainly one worth noting.
