The Tennessee Vols are making a move for a four-star recruit from the Peach State.

2026 four-star edge rusher Dre Quinn visited Tennessee this past weekend and he told On3 that the Vols are now "high" on his list.

“After my visit today, Tennessee is definitely high on my list," said Quinn. "My connection with the coaches was awesome. It felt like I’ve known them for years.”

The talented edge rusher also told On3 that "vibes felt genuine and the coaches and staff were down to earth" during his visit to Tennessee.

Quinn, 6-foot-4/228 lbs from Norcross, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 26 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 38 player in the state of Georgia.

Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia Tech are also in the mix for Quinn, who noted that he plans to take an official visit to Tennessee later this year.

The Vols have become an attractive destination for edge rushers in recent years thanks to the success of players like Byron Young (who just wrapped up his second season in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams) and James Pearce (a projected first round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft).

Tennessee currently has eight players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
