Kansas City Chiefs have two very different versions of Patrick Mahomes show up in the locker room after win over Bills
The Kansas City Chiefs spent the rest of their Sunday night partying it up and celebrating the history they are making. Seven straight AFC Championships don't happen often. Three straight Super Bowl appearances after winning the previous two Super Bowls never happens. Literally, it's never happened.
So, yeah, they deserve to party a bit. They deserve to have some fun in the locker room after the game. And, that's exactly what they did. Last year, we saw guys like Donovan Smith trash-talking in the locker room after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens last season. Smith was yelling at Roquan Smith, the Ravens' starting linebacker, who was on the TV screen at the podium.
And that's not the only time or thing we have seen these players have some fun in the locker room.
But, what you likely didn't expect to see was two different versions of Patrick Mahomes in the locker room. Yeah, they were having fun, but this time it was a guy who looks and acts like Mahomes and isn't even on the team.
Chiefs let Dylan Raiola in the locker room after win over Bills
By this time, everyone now knows who Dylan Raiola is — the Patrick Mahomes stunt double who plays football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He's good, too, maybe one of the best freshmen in the entire country playing the hardest position. And, he mimics his game and style after Mahomes. No, really, they have the same throwing style, throwing on-the-run style, celebrations, everything.
A ton of fans think it's weird, but he's actually really good friends with Mahomes. So much so, that he's wearing Chiefs gear in the locker room after the game hanging out with everyone.
Isaiah Pacheco, the Chiefs running back, was seen in a video talking with Raiola saying "That's not Pat!" Then, he shows Mahomes and Mahomes is waving while laughing.
These guys are just having fun. And hey, a win over the Buffalo Bills with now a trip to play the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
