The Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets have released their final injury report ahead of Week 9’s game at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs won’t face the Jets’ top offensive weapon on Sunday, WR Garrett Wilson, who has been ruled out with a concussion. That sets up a much easier matchup for Kansas City, which feels like a gift after a two-game losing skid. However, as Steve Spagnuolo said, the Jets have three players this season who have produced a 100-yard receiving performance. Omar Cooper Jr. and Kenyon Sadiq are still threats to go off.

As for the Chiefs, they face a familiar challenge heading into Week 9’s game. Rookie CB Mansoor Delane is missing his third game of the 2026 NFL season with a lingering shoulder injury. That doesn’t sting as much with Wilson out, but it’s becoming far too common.

Here’s a quick breakdown of each team’s Week 9 injury report, including game status designations. Keep in mind that clubs can add to the injury report through kickoff on Sunday.

Observations

  • It’ll be another week for DT Omarr Norman-Lott. The Chiefs have one more week to decide on whether they’ll activate him to the 53-man roster or keep him on injured reserve.
  • Peter Woods will miss at least one week with his stinger. That likely opens the door for Marcus Harris to be elevated from the practice squad.
  • Nikko Remigio being questionable despite two full practices could suggest the team wants to be cautious with his hip injury. Look for Jacob De Jesus or Justin Watson to be called up from the practice squad to return punts if Remigio sits.

Observations

  • Aaron Glenn ruled out both Garrett Wilson and Trevin Wallace on Friday morning.
  • CB Nashon Wright was listed with a new back injury on Friday; he’s questionable for the game. He could be ruled out tomorrow if he doesn’t travel with the team.
  • S VJ Payne might not be activated this week, given his questionable status.
