The Philadelphia Eagles dodged losing offensive coordinator Kellen Moore to the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars this week.

Moore interviewed with the Cowboys for their vacant head coach position, however, the team opted to fill the position in-house by promoting Brian Schottenheimer from offensive coordinator to head coach.

The same happened with the Jaguars who went with hiring former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen over Moore.

But that doesn't mean the Eagles are out of the woods of potentially losing Moore yet.

The New Orleans Saints, who are also on the search for their next head coach, want to interview Moore for a second time, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Moore hasn't clearly indicated if he wants to stick around in Philly, but the hope is that he does.

If Moore ends up leaving, that means quarterback Jalen Hurts will be stuck learning his fifth offensive playbook this spring since he entered the league in 2020. Not to mention that the Eagles are one game away from a Super Bowl appearance and pending what happens there, it would be nice for the Birds to keep a Super Bowl-contending coaching staff together.

But at the end of the day, it ultimately comes down to whether or not New Orleans offers Moore the job and if he decides to take it.
