The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will play this Sunday in the NFC Championship round of the NFL playoffs. 

Jalen Hurts and the Birds advanced after taking down the Los Angeles Rams, 28-22, in the divisional round last week. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels and the Commanders made it this far after upsetting the Detroit Lions, 45-31. 

Whoever comes out on top of the NFC Championship will punch their ticket to the Super Bowl and take on the winner of the AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

The Eagles-Commanders rivalry has been played 180 times, with Washington winning 90 games and Philly winning 85. They have played met just once in the postseason and have also tied five times. 

The last time they played each other was earlier this season in Week 16 when the Commanders won 36-33.
