Is it 2023 again?
Because that's how it feels with this upcoming Super Bowl LIX matchup.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will match up against one another on Sunday. And it's yet again a tough one for the Kelce family.
Jason Kelce spent his entire career in Philadelphia, while Travis Kelce has always worn the red and gold. So, it seemed fitting that ahead of this big game, Jason had Travis on the latest episode of They Call It Late Night.
And Travis said something that nobody was expecting him to say.
It began when Jason asked the tight end if he had a message for Philadelphia fans.
“Go Birds, baby!," Kelce simply responded.
Even Jason couldn't believe what he was hearing and called out his brother for it.
But, Travis continued to back it up, while showing love for his older brother.
“I’m a Jason Kelce fanatic, dude,” Travis added. “I love that guy. I still got all the gang green from you guys’ Super Bowl and your run in Philly. I still got some Philly pride man. I’m wishing the best for those guys, but, you know, uhhh, go birds.”
“There’s absolutely no chance you mean that,” Jason responded.
It was a rough moment for Chiefs Kingdom, having to hear one of their favorite players make a comment like this. But, when he takes the field on the NFL's biggest stage, his only focus will be getting the win for Kansas City.
