The Senior Bowl is a great opportunity for good players to get competitive reps against other good players. Measuring in at just over 5'9" and only 156 lbs, former Oregon wide receiver Tez Johnson has a big test in front of him this week to prove the type of consistent talent that Ducks fans know he is.

According to one of the best cornerbacks in this year's draft class, lining up against Johnson was the toughest matchup of Day 1 of practices.

"Um, I'll say Tez," Florida State cornerback Azareye'h Thomas said when asked about the toughest task of the day. "He's smaller, it's kind of hard to get hands on him, but I'll take that challenge to heart. So tomorrow, I'm gonna go right back to it, and go back to the drawing board and see what I can do better."

Thomas checks in as the No. 43 overall player on NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah's top-50 prospects board, putting him well within range of going late in the first round or early on Day 2. Thomas is Jeremiah's third-ranked cornerback.

Johnson is a prolific wide receiver. Over the last two season with Oregon, Johnson totaled 169 receptions, 2080 receiving yards, and 20 touchdowns in 26 games played. He's a dynamic wide receiver that can line up all over the formation, handling screens and underneath passes as well as deep routes down the field.

Johnson got a lot of buzz on Day 1. He'll aim to continue adding to his NFL Draft profile over the course of the week, proving that he has all the traits needed to overcome his slighter frame.
