On3's Pete Nakos predicted on Tuesday that the Tennessee Vols will land a transfer player at a key position of need.

Nakos predicted that Arizona transfer offensive lineman Wendell Moe will head to Rocky Top to join the Vols for the 2025 season.

The On3 analyst's confidence level in Tennessee landing Moe is at 70 percent.

Moe, who has two seasons of eligibility remaining, is a former three-star recruit from Long Beach, CA (the same hometown as Vols quarterback Nico Iamaleava).

The California native made 27 starts at left guard during his time at Arizona. Moe was the Wildcats' highest graded pass blocker in 2024 (87.0) according to Pro Football Focus.

Tennessee is set to lose at least three starting offensive linemen from its 2024 squad, with center Cooper Mays, guard Javontez Spraggins, and tackle John Campbell all out of eligibility after this season.

Guard Andrej Karic, who didn't go through senior day festivities last month at Neyland Stadium, is seeking another year of eligibility from the NCAA after missing eight games in 2023 due to injury. Karic's status for next season is obviously up in the air for now.

Offensive tackle Lance Heard, who will be a junior next fall, is expected to return to Knoxville in 2025, barring an unexpected transfer. Heard, who started his career at LSU, started 10 games during the regular season for the Vols in 2024 (he missed two games due to an ankle injury).

If Moe lands with Tennessee, he should immediately slot in as one of the Vols' starting guards.
