Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings went viral during the San Francisco 49ers' matchup against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

And it was for the most Jauan Jennings reason ever.

Tennessee fans and 49ers fans are well aware that Jennings plays with 100 percent effort on every single rep. Whether he's blocking or running a route, Jennings always gives everything he's got on every play.

Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold learned that first hand on Monday night.

In the first half, Jennings blocked Arnold through whistle and through the back of the end zone until both players finally crashed to the ground.

After the play, Lions safety Kerby Joseph took issue with Jennings' block and pushed the former Vol into the field level seats behind the end zone.

Jennings and Joseph were both called for personal foul penalties.

That's just the way Jennings plays the game. And while it's never a good thing to draw a penalty, coaches would much rather have to pull the reigns back on a player than the opposite.

Fortunately for both teams, the extracurricular activity after the play didn't devolve into anything worse than some shoving. It was just a couple of athletes competing at a high level. No need to eject anyone for that kind of effort on either side of the ball.
