The Cincinnati Bengals need a win over the Denver Broncos to stay alive in the AFC playoff race. Let's see who will NOT suit up for the home team today.
Here are the Bengals' Week 17 inactives
- ED Sam Hubbard
- WR Tanner Hudson
- WR Charlie Jones
- DT Sheldon Rankins
- OT Andrew Stueber
Hubbard and Rankins were declared out on Thursday, while Hudson was offically doubtful. Hubbard and Hudson each have knee injuries that could cause them to miss the rest of the regular season. Rankins will now miss six consecutive games with a viral illness. Rookie tight end Tanner McLachlan is active for the second time in his NFL career today with Hudson out.
Jones was listed as questionable but he will miss yet another game. He hasn't played since Week 8 due to his groin injury. Stueber is a healthy scratch.
Orlando Brown Jr., who's missed six of the last seven games with a fibula injury, will make his return to block Joe Burrow's blindside. Cody Ford will start alongside him at left guard with Cordell Volson taking a seat on the bench.
Edge defender Joseph Ossai and free safety Geno Stone will both play. Ossai missed all week of practice with an illness and Stone was under the weather Friday. Head coach Zac Taylor said they each had a chance to be cleared, and they were.
Ossai posted 10 pressures and two sacks in his last three games. Stone snagged three interceptions in the same three-game stretch. Both will be needed against Denver's offense.
Right tackle Amarius Mims will play despite his broken right hand. Tee Higgins is also active despite his knee injury.
