Tennessee Vols redshirt sophomore wide receiver Chas Nimrod plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal according to a report from VolQuest

Nimrod is a former three-star recruit from Bentonville, AR who signed with Tennessee during the 2022 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-3 wide receiver didn't see much action as a true freshman for the Vols in 2022, but he caught 19 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown in 2023.

In 12 games in 2024, Nimrod caught 10 passes for 121 yards.

The Arkansas Razorbacks could be a program to watch for Nimrod — especially since a couple of former Tennessee teammates (defensive back Doneiko Slaughter and offensive lineman Addison Nichols) transferred to Arkansas ahead of the 2024 season.

Nimrod is the second Tennessee wide receiver that plans to enter the transfer portal.

It was reported last week that redshirt sophomore wide receiver Kaleb Webb plans to enter the transfer portal.

The winter window for the NCAA transfer portal officially opened on Monday.
