A Michigan fan took to Reddit this week to offer some advice to Tennessee Vols fans ahead of UT's matchup against Ohio State in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

Tennessee will play Ohio State in Columbus in the first round of the playoff on December 21 at 8:00 PM ET. The winner will face Oregon in the quarterfinals.

Here's the advice/warning that Michigan fan Behinddasticks had for Vols fans on the r/ockytop subreddit

Greetings Vols! I put together a little guide to understanding Ohio fans. They are the most insufferable, entitled fan base you'll ever meet and that's saying something cuz I know you guys play Bama regularly. But trust me, they are worse.

You're new to speaking Buckeye so allow me to translate, Rosetta Stone if you will:

If you beat them, automatically you did something dastardly and diabolical to cheat. You either:

A.  Manipulated some rule for your advantage. That rule should immediately be reviewed and revoked and the game replayed.
B. Paid off the refs.
C. Paid off the Ohio State players to lose
D. The SEC and the TV networks conspired you to win

One if not all of those are true but at the same time you're also trash. And if you played again 9 times out 10 Ohio soft University would win.

In summary, you can never beat Ohio Soft University straight up. That is impossible and against God's will. Any loss will and rightfully should trigger a full federal investigation with the Senate committee subpoenaing everyone involved.

Their fanbase/player does not know how to lose. They will never tip their hat and say good game. The majority of the fan base will implode and start fighting each other like rabid dogs in a junkyard while simultaneously doing everything above. It's truly a wonder to behold lol.

Good luck! Rocky Top and Go Blue!

Tennessee fans are no strangers to questionable calls and are certainly accustomed to being talked down to by fan bases like Alabama and Georgia, so they should be up to the task when the Vols head to Columbus later this month.

Ultimately, though, Tennessee just wants to get out of the horseshoe with a win. I don't think fans, coaches, or players will care much about what Ohio State fans have to say as long as the Vols survive and advance.

A decade of hanging out in the cellar of the SEC prepared Tennessee fans for nearly anything that other fan bases can dish out.
