A former four-star recruit who spent the last three seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs is expected to be interested in the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Georgia cornerback Julian Humphrey is expected to officially enter the NCAA transfer portal this month. And according to On3, Alabama is one of the programs that he's expected to look at.
Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, and Miami are also expected to be options for Humphrey.
Humphrey, 6-foot-1/195 lbs from Houston, TX, was rated as the No. 9 cornerback in the nation in the 2022 recruiting class. He was also rated as the No. 81 overall player in the 2022 class.
The Texas native has 21 total tackles and five passes defensed in 23 career games with the Bulldogs.
It's still early in the transfer cycle, which means we should have more clarity on whether or not there will be mutual interest between Humphrey and Alabama in the coming days/weeks.
Texas and Texas A&M will likely be viewed as the favorites for Humphrey, but the Crimson Tide could quickly become a serious player for the talented defensive back.
