Could a former Tennessee Vols quarterback be suiting up for the Vanderbilt Commodores in 2025.
It might be a possibility.
According to On3's Pete Nakos, Vanderbilt is an early school to watch for former Tennessee quarterback Kaidon Salter.
Salter, who has spent the last four seasons at Liberty, hasn't officially entered the NCAA transfer portal yet, but the expectation is that he soon will.
And when he does, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Indiana, and Auburn will be programs to keep an eye on according to Nakos.
Salter originally signed with Tennessee during the 2021 recruiting cycle. The former four-star recruit never played a game for the Vols as he was dismissed from the program (due to multiple drug related incidents) a couple of months before the start of the 2021 season.

Salter passed for 5,887 yards and 56 touchdowns during his time at Liberty. He also rushed for 2,013 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Hugh Freeze, who was Salter's head coach for two seasons at Liberty, is currently the head coach at Auburn, which makes the Tigers the early favorite for the former Vol.
