It's rivalry week as the Georgia Bulldogs get ready to play their annual "Clean Old-Fashioned Hate Game" against Georgia Tech in Athens on Friday.

The hope is that the Bulldogs can get some of their key injured players back in the lineup, though that might not happen with the quick turnaround.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart provided those injury updates on Monday.

For starters, Smart said starting defensive tackle Christen Miller, who exited Saturday's win over UMass early with a right shoulder injury, has not been able to do a lot at practice.

"Yeah, he's banged up," Smart said. "Didn't do much yesterday. Don't know what he'll be able to do today. Still trying to kind of assess, because we didn't, like on Monday, I didn't get to see much yesterday, and we weren't in pads. So we'll find out more as the week goes."

While the Miller news is a bummer, there was a positive update on wide receivers Anthony Evans (hamstring) and Dillon Bell (ankle).

"Yeah, they're both, did some stuff yesterday, went out and worked out," Smart said. "Think both of them are gonna be good to go and be able to help us. But we'll see, because I'll know a lot more after today's practice."

Smart also had good things to say about running backs Roderick Robinson's (toe) and Branson Robinson's (knee) progress.

"Branson and Rod have both looked good in the last week in terms of picking up their pace, running, cutting," Smart said. "We're going to progress them today. They're going to do more today than they have. I guess y'all saw them run Saturday. They did more yesterday. We're day by day with those guys, but there's a possibility so we're excited about them getting back to work."

Unfortunately, Smart did not share any new information on running back Trevor Etienne (ribs), however, the star rusher is expected to remain sidelined this week.

Georgia will release their first injury report against Georgia Tech on Wednesday, which will give us a have a better picture of the injury situation.
