Taylor Swift has one very popular lyric change that causes fans to go crazy every single time they hear it.
And she brought it back out during her final show in Miami on Sunday night. Plus it came at the perfect time.
It occurred while she was performing her song "Karma" from her album, Midnights.
Instead of singing "Karma is the guy on the screen," she sang, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs."
And she did it after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl rematch to start the season 6-0.
It was the absolute perfect way to celebrate the win.
The lyric change first happened in November, when the Chiefs tight end flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina during the bye week to meet up with the singer on her tour. And knowing that Kelce was in the crowd, Swift threw in something special for him.
That's when she altered the lyrics in "Karma."
At the time, Kelce stood next to Swift's father (who was wearing a Chiefs lanyard) during the concert, and videos captured his reaction perfectly, with a smile lighting up his face.
Just days after this happened, Kelce joined his brother Jason on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast and talked about this viral moment.
“Yeah no I had no clue (she would do that) … well, I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me,” Kelce said. “I was like, ‘Oh sh**, she really just said that.'”
Taylor Swift not letting Era's Tour commitments get in the way of supporting Chiefs TE Travis Kelce
For the first time during the 2024 season, Taylor Swift had to miss one of the Kansas City Chiefs games due to her Eras Tour.
The singer was back at it in Miami over the weekend, and it included a show on Sunday night.
Fans get to the stadium super early for the singer's tour, taking in the entire experience. But because of that, it meant that they were going to miss the Chiefs game, which started at 4:25 p.m. ET.
So to help everyone out, the singer had the game broadcasting around the stadium.
And it's worth mentioning that this is the stadium that another NFL team plays in, but the singer's influence is so powerful that they had the Kansas City game on just for her.
Even when she can't be there, she wants everyone to know she's supporting Travis Kelce always.
