The Indianapolis Colts are coming off back-to-back wins, improving to 4-3 on the season, which puts them in second place in the AFC South.
In Week 8, they will look to win three straight games for the first time this season. But to do so, they will have to win arguably their most important game of the season to date, with them traveling to take on the Houston Texans.
Ahead of the matchup, the Colts have gotten one of their best players back on the practice field after missing multiple games this season.
Colts designate DeForest Buckner to return to practice

Star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner landed on the IR after suffering a high ankle sprain in the Colts' Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers. As a result, he has missed the past five weeks but has now returned to practice. The Colts' run defense has continued to struggle, but the team's pass rush has missed Buckner's ability to create consistent pressure out of the interior. Getting him back on the field would help not only their defense but also the team's pass rushers to finish sacks at a higher rate.
Along with Buckner, the Colts also got star running back Jonathan Taylor back on the practice field on Wednesday and Thursday. The team waiting until now for both to practice tells you just how important they view this second matchup with Houston. A win in Week 8 will not only tie up the season series between the two teams but also create a tie atop the AFC South. We will know more about both player's status for Week 8 following Friday's practice where the team will have to assign injury designations for their matchup with the Texans.
