Since he first arose to stardom, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been said to look like "Home Alone" star actor Macaulay Culkin. The comparison has followed him since before he was drafted to Cincinnati, but he's never acknowledged it.

So Culkin took matters into his own hands.

Culkin took to Instagram to share his Halloween costume, which is him dressed as Burrow in full Bengals uniform. He even got the new orange pants to boot.

The post has gone viral and Culkin also tagged Burrow's handle, ensuring the star quarterback would see it.

Mission accomplished. Burrow re-posted the picture to his story with the caption, "Touché alleged doppleganger."

Sorry Joe, there's nothing "alleged" about it. That man is your celebrity lookalike through and through. If someone had just woken up and saw the picture, they'd think it was you! Maybe if Culkin also bleached his hair months ago we would've gotten an even similar comparison.

Burrow is performing like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL despite Cincinnati's 3-5 record through eight games. He doesn't spend much time on social media outside of brand posts during the season, and especially not while the Bengals are struggling on the field. An acknowledgement from him is pretty cool to see.

Kudos to Culkin for finally embracing the comparison on his end as well. Maybe now Burrow can dress up as Kevin McCallister this Christmas or something.
