After the Minnesota Vikings arguably should have been flexed against the Detroit Lions this past Sunday, they have officially been flexed with their week nine game against the Indianapolis Colts in week nine and will be on Sunday Night Football. The move replaces the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Vikings were initially scheduled to play the Colts at noon on Sunday, November 3rd. The Jaguars and Eagles will now be played at 4:05 p.m. ET.
This will be the third primetime game the Vikings will have on their schedule this season. They are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football this week and will host the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football in December.
The last time these two teams played, it was also a nationally televised game with the Vikings completing the biggest comeback in NFL history at 33 points in a 39-36 overtime win over the Colts. That was at noon on a Saturday but it was broadcast to the entire nation.
Both teams are over 0.500 with the Vikings still leading the NFL in point differential at +61.
