The Philadelphia Eagles Week 8 road game against the Cincinnati Bengals was originally scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET.
Now, it will be played at 1 p.m. ET instead.
That's because the NFL wants more attention on the two rookie quarterbacks, Chicago Bears' Caleb Williams and Washington Commanders' Jayden Daniels, over former 2020 draft pick QBs Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow.
Williams went No. 1 overall to the Bears this year and is an early favorite for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He has thrown for 1,317 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions so far this season.
Daniels, who is also in the OROY talks, was the Commanders' No. 2 overall pick and has thrown for 1,404 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.
While the rookies get the better time slot, 70 percent of the country will be able to watch the Eagles vs. Bengals broadcast.
Neither team has been playing good football as Hurts and the Eagles enter Week 7 with a 3-2 record and will take on the New York Giants. And Burrow and the Bengals are 2-4 as they get ready to host the Cleveland Browns.
