The NFL trade deadline may be a week behind us at this point, but the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't done in terms of acquiring talent.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the team has signed former All-Pro WR and returner, Jamal Agnew to their practice squad.

Steelers Add to their Weaponry

Agnew is a former All-Pro and Pro Bowler, and one of the most dynamic returners in the NFL when healthy. Still yet to reach 30, the explosive return option has made big plays throughout his career for both the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars.

With Roman Wilson still on I.R. and Jaylen Warren and Cordarrelle Patterson serving as the main returners, the move allows Pittsburgh to keep their stable of backs fresh should they decide to call upon Agnew from the practice squad.

Agnew was still a free agent as he recovered from injury, but the Steelers obviously feel comfortable with his status, evidenced by the acquisition.

Don't be surprised if Agnew makes his debut this week against the Baltimore Ravens.

Pittsburgh will look to pull out all the stops in what is sure to be a pivotal game in the race for the AFC North crown.
