The second half of the Pittsburgh Steelers season is here.

Bracing for a tough stretch that starts with a big test against the Washington Commanders, Pittsburgh is going to need all the help it can get.

Well, on Friday, we receieved a final look into how healthy the team is heading into Week 10:

Steelers Week 10 Injury Report (Friday)

Observations

  • Justin Fields: After suffering a hamstring injury in the final practice ahead of the New York Giants game, Fields was inactive in Week 8, but his full participation after the bye week bodes well for his backup status and the potential unveiling of the Justin Fields package. Fields is off the report and set for Sunday.
  • Ben Skowronek: The special teams ace and dirty work player at WR had his practice window opened for the first time since going on the injured reserve. Skowronek is questionable and would have to be activated to the 53 man roster
  • Terrell Edmunds: Out with an illness on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Edmunds is out for Sunday
  • Tyler Matakevich: "Dirty Red" as he's been nicknamed by Steelers fans, is progressing nicely on his return from his hamstring injury. Matakevich is questionable as he too would need to be activated to the 53 man roster
  • Nick Herbig: For the first time in weeks, Herbig practiced albeit in a limited capacity after injuring his hamstring. Herbig then regressed on Friday, as he didn't participate and is officially out for Week 10
  • Zach Frazier: To see the rookie stud and starting center return to practice is a great sign for the Steelers line as he carries no designation heading into Sunday
  • Cordarrelle Patterson: A terrific depth piece at RB, Patterson. has been unavailable since the Indianapolis Colts game, but Patterson is set to return against the Commanders
  • MyCole Pruitt: After popping up on Thursday's injury report, Pruitt was a full participant on Friday and is set for Sunday
