Things got interesting at Vaught Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi during the first half of the Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss game when it was interrupted by a squirrel running onto the field.

The cute interruption caused a slight delay and may have ultimately slowed down Ole Miss' momentum and kept them from reaching the end zone on that early second-quarter drive — benefiting Georgia in the end.

The squirrel eventually made its way to the Georgia sidelines and spooked some Bulldogs before running off for good.

Georgia entered this Week 11 matchup as 2.5-point favorites, however, Ole Miss has been dominant and took a 16-7 lead at halftime.

Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck completed 6 of 10 passes for 49 yards in the first half while Rebels' Jaxson Dart was 9 of 14 for 131 yards.

This is a very critical game for both teams. Georgia is locked in for a playoff run and currently holds the No. 3 seed, but they must keep winning. Meanwhile, the Rebels are more than likely out of the playoff picture if they lose to the Bulldogs.
