@BuffaloBills on X.

The topic of Von Miller is one that seemingly always ruffles the feathers of Bills Mafia. There's a prevailing sentiment amongst the fanbase that the lucrative free agent signing was a waste. I constantly see comments and posts about it on social media, which I couldn't disagree more with.

Miller is healthy and he's primed to return to form and contribute for this roster in a big way. Instead of lamenting the move in hindsight because of an injury that you can't predict, Bills Mafia should be rallying around the future Hall of Famer and hoping to see an uncaged animal off the edge. It sounds like that's exactly what Miller is looking to become.

"I feel right where I'm right where I'm supposed to be. I was hoping to feel like this last year, at the beginning of the season. It's just been, you know, pan out for me. It took me an extra, you know, 10 months on top of that, and still, you know, I still feel good. I feel good. I feel better than what I felt in training camp. I felt good in training camp, and each week that goes well, I feel better and better and better. So hopefully that training can continue. And, you know, I just keep feeling better and better better," Miller said after their practice on Wednesday.

Back in late July, Miller was turning heads from media and teammates alike. Starting left tackle Dion Dawkins said "Von is von. I don't know if y'all see what's going on, but they better look out. 40 is back," following a training camp practice.

Now able to focus on football and not on the injury, Miller is ready to take the next step in returning to the elite pass rusher that he once was.

"I'm excited to be back in this form," Miller said. "I'm excited to go out there and just play football and not think about, you know, my knee or anything else. And yeah, it's just back to playing football and trying to be the best pass rusher I can possibly be. And I get excited for that. That's what I do best. That's what I do better than anything else in the whole entire world."

If Miller is fully back and playing without having to think, if he trusts his knee, then it could be a scary proposition for the rest of the league. Miller is ready to help the team however he can.

"I haven't played 80% of snaps since 2021, 2021, maybe even 2019. You know, when I came here to Buffalo, I knew it wasn't going to be 80 to 70% I knew it'd be more like 50 to 60% of the snaps. You know, after the first snap of the game it, that's really the only snap that I missed. So I came off the bench last year and and I'll be coming off the bench this year, and I'll just do whatever it takes to win," Miller said. "I'm here and ready to do whatever I can do to contribute to winning and, you know, helping us become our best form as a football team. I don't have any pride or ego when it comes to starting or, you know, coming out there – I just, I just want to win the game. And I'm just leaning on my strengths at this age, where I am at 35, then so be it. Like I said before, I don't have any pride or any ego. This is my 14th year in the league, and all I want to do is win."

A fresh Miller off the bench, rotating in to do what he does best – get after the quarterback – could be a tremendous advantage for this year's version of the Buffalo Bills.
