Losing Ebukam was brutal for the Colts in training camp, coming off his big season in 2023. Luckily, the team's edge room is arguably the deepest it has been during Chis Ballard's tenure as GM. His absence opens the door for the team to start rookie Laiaitu Latu, who has impressed the team so far.

Getting Ebukam back late in the season for a potential playoff push could be major for the team. In recent memory, there have been a few cases of players tearing their Achilles in training camp and returning late into the season, which is why the Colts are willing to take this chance with Ebukam.
