It seems as though Mike White likes playing in the AFC East, as he's now able to claim a majority of teams in the division as his employer.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the former Dolphins QB agreed to a deal with division rival Buffalo Bills to join their practice squad following cutdown day.

White was cut by the Dolphins on Sunday after he was beaten out by Skylar Thompson for the team's backup quarterback spot.  It was a rough preseason for White, who started off with a 4 of 14 passing performance for 37 yards in the opener against the Atlanta Falcons.  Things never really got better, and Thompson clinched the job with a solid showing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday night in Tampa.

Now, White will join the practice squad in Buffalo, which is interesting because Miami apparently didn't want to extend that same offer to White.  Buffalo's quarterback room behind Josh Allen includes only Mitch Trubisky right now, who's proven to be a decent backup but not much more.  However, White didn't put much on film this preseason to show he can do any better than Trubisky.

White started off his career with the New York Jets, where he played from 2021-2022. In 14 games with 7 career starts, he's thrown for 2219 yards with 9 touchdowns to 13 interceptions.
