Three weeks into the NFL season and the Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver room is banged up.

The latest receiver to get banged up is Britain Covey.

Covey suffered a broken bone in his shoulder during Sunday's 15-12 win over the New Orleans Saints and is expected to miss at least six weeks, according to Eagles announcer Merrill Reese, who gave the update on KYW Newsradio

Eagles' No. 2 wide receiver DeVonta Smith also suffered a concussion in the game following a nasty late hit.

This news all comes after the Eagles have already been without top wideout A.J. Brown, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury over the last two games.

Additionally, rookie wide receiver Johnny Wilson has been playing limited snaps with a hamstring injury.

It will be interesting to see what the Eagles do moving forward, especially if Brown remains sidelined.

They still have third-string wideout Jahan Dotson, who hasn't been targeted much and has only three receptions for 14 yards in three games.

The Eagles also elevated wide receiver Parris Campbell from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game for extra depth purposes. He played 50% of the offensive snaps and had two catches for 13 yards.

Tight end Dallas Goedert ultimately carried the boat in the passing game against New Orleans and logged a career-high 170 yards on 10 catches, but they still need healthy wide receivers.

The Eagles also have, Kyle Philips, Danny Gray, and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint available on the practice squad.
