An Oklahoma radio show host took an unnecessary and classless shot at Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel on Monday ahead of UT's showdown with the Sooners in Norman on Saturday.

KREF's TJ Perry appeared to make fun of Heupel's appearance on Monday, before suggesting that Oklahoma should not recognize the former Sooners quarterback before the game against Tennessee this weekend.

"I just heard from a friend that said hey, I got a blow up six foot turkey that I put up for Thanksgiving that I can take down there for you to put out (at the tailgate)," said Perry

"Again, this is TJ making fun of one of the greatest Sooners of all time," said Perry's co-host.

"He's got a turkey neck, what do you want me to say," responded Perry.

"I'm just telling it like it is," added Perry. "Thank you for the national championship, I loved it. But now he's enemy No. 1. SEC, game one, he's enemy No. 1. Let's go kick him."

Here's the full audio of the segment.

Yikes. That's a tough look for Perry. I know those guys are Oklahoma fans through and through. And they're obviously rooting for the Sooners to win big on Saturday. But making fun of Heupel's appearance? That's pretty low — especially considering Heupel has been nothing but appreciative of his time at Oklahoma anytime he's been asked publicly about the Sooners.

Heupel's been nothing but class when it comes to Oklahoma. And most Sooners fans have had the same approach. But not all of them. Perry's comments are a bit of a black eye for the OU fan base ahead of a massive SEC showdown.
