The Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) won't be without safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson after all when they take on the New Orleans Saints (2-0) this afternoon.
After missing two days of practice this week with a foot injury, Gardner-Johnson warmed up ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff and was not on the inactive list.
That's good news for the Eagles' defense which will be tasked with shutting down Saints quarterback Derek Carr along with his top weapons in dual-threat running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Rashid Shaheed.
Eagles' rookie wide receiver Johnny Wilson (hamstring) is also active today after missing two days of practice.
Unfortunately, starting wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) is inactive for the second week straight.
With Brown out and Wilson likely on a snap count this week, the Eagles elevated wide receiver Parris Campbell and tight end Jack Stoll from the practice squad for extra help.
