The Kansas City Chiefs have now emerged as a front-runner for every new superstar that hits free agency, or every star that demands a trade from their team.
That's what happens when you win a Super Bowl with Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback.
The most recent one is Odell Beckham Jr., who was once one of the best receivers in the league. Now, he is still a very good player but is a free agent because of an injury that occurred in his contract season last year.
OBJ won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams last season. Now, as a free agent, he has been searching for that next team and has even said the Chiefs are one of his finalists.
On Tuesday, he gave an update on his thoughts on joining Kansas City.
Now, the Chiefs certainly don't need Beckham Jr., but boy would it be nice to have a guy like him. He can easily be a number-one receiver on an offense like this. If he is the same guy that helped the Los Angeles Rams win Super Bowl LVI, then the possibilities are endless when it comes to the Chiefs' offensive production.
Once again, as he gets healthier, this is definitely a situation to continue monitoring.
