There's a potential trade that makes a lot of sense for the Denver Broncos that they should seriously look into making before the trade deadline on November 1.

Denver could use another wide receiver — specifically a wide receiver that can make contested catches down the field (one of Russell Wilson's strengths).

It just so happens that New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway might be available via trade.

Callaway is a 6-foot-2 wide receiver who excels at catching 50/50 balls. And ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler believes he could be on the move.

From ESPN:

The New Orleans SaintsMarquez Callaway is another receiver to watch. He's the odd man out behind Chris OlaveJarvis Landry and Michael Thomas. He has a low salary, due $895,000 this year, with restricted free agency on the way.

It's not just the fact that Callaway is a vertical threat that makes him a solid option for the Broncos.

Callaway, a former Tennessee Vols standout, also has a connection to the Denver coaching staff.

Broncos wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni recruited Callaway to Tennessee and he was his position coach for one season at UT (Azzanni left Tennesee to become the Chicago Bears wide receivers coach after the 2016 season).

Callaway shouldn't cost much in a trade, he would fill a need and he's already familiar with Denver's wide receivers coach.

I can't think of a reason why the Broncos shouldn't make this trade.
