The New Orleans Saints' win against the Seattle Seahawks came at a cost. On defense, star cornerback Marshon Lattimore sustained an abdomen injury.
Saints' HC Dennis Allen had some comments on his injury on Monday. They won't know more about his availability until later in the week.
he sustained the injury on the long touchdown pass to Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett.
Lockett beat a couple other players in the Saints' secondary, so Lattimore tried to help on the back-end. A perfect throw beat them all, and the Saints' top CB was shaken up after the play.
Lattimore was trying to prevent a play that was not his fault at all.
He played very well against the Seahawks. Seattle's top WR, D.K. Metcalf, did not record a catch against the Saints' top cornerback.
It is something to keep an eye on since the Saints play the Bengals this upcoming week.
They have two of the best wideouts in the league in Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Losing Lattimore for that matchup would be a huge blow for the defense.
