The Denver Broncos have a new addition to their team, and a lot of people don’t really know who he is. That is where I come in.
Earlier this week the Broncos made a few moves before the trade deadline. Of course, we know about the Bradley Chubb trade that sent him to Miami for a first and fourth-round pick.
However, there was another trade made that day that people gloss over a bit.
The Broncos sent a 2024 fourth-rounder to the New York Jets for outside linebacker Jacob Martin, and a 2024 fifth-rounder.
A lot of casual fans probably won't know who Martin is, and that is okay. He has been on some pretty bad teams the last few years, which in a way has kind of hidden how good he is. If you don't know anything about him, here is how he described himself.
“I like to think that I am very good at what I do,” Martin said. “You know, I’m a very good pass rusher. I’m a very good leader, and defender, with excitement, energy, and a little craziness. Hopefully, I can bring some wins.”
Martin was then asked what he meant about “a little craziness.”
“Oh, you will have to find out,”
I think Broncos Country is going to like this guy.
