The Buffalo Bills, with their victory over the Chicago Bears, were able to clinch their third consecutive AFC East crown.
Immediately after the game, it was announced that the team would need to stay in Chicago for the evening.
The so-called "blizzard of '22" was wreaking havoc on the city of Buffalo and the surrounding area. Spending Christmas Eve without their families wasn't something the team or coaching staff was expecting.
The team was able to arrive early Christmas morning with a special present waiting for them from Bills Mafia.
The devout fanbase waited outside the airport for the team to return, to cheer them on and show their support after clinching another AFC East title.
Bills Mafia went viral over the past few years not only for their incredible donations but for meeting the team at the airport. Whether it was a devastating loss or an incredible victory, the fanbase is there.
This isn't the first, and won't be the last, time that the fanbase has waited in the freezing cold to simply show their support.
Fans of the Bills waited decades for a team to be this good, and they should be enjoying every second of the team's recent success.
While this won't take away from the team missing out on Christmas Eve with their families, it should brighten their day to see the impact they have on the fans and the city of Buffalo.
Bills Mafia loves the Bills, and it appears that the Bills love the Bills Mafia just as much.
While it's not a Christmas miracle, it's yet another indicator of just how special the fan base is.
Rain, cold, sleet, snow, or sunshine, Bills Mafia is going to be there.
