The Kansas City Chiefs are not in dire need of anything on their offense, in terms of needs. Now, could they get better at some positions, sure, but they don't necessarily need anything. Now the defense needs a few things.
However, that doesn't mean the Chiefs won't be active in terms of looking for some offensive pieces.
On Wednesday, According to KPRC 2 Houstonthat the Chiefs were one of three teams in the market to possibly make a trade for Houston Texans star receiver Brandin Cooks. The Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers were the other two.
The Chiefs don't need Cooks, as the offense and the receivers are really starting to come together.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is finally starting to look like a number-one receiver, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been great the last few games. But, imagine what the offense would look like with Cooks, a speedy receiver that has had six 1,000-receiving-yard years, with the most recent coming last season.
To make matters even better, for the Chiefs that is, the veteran has recently been liking tweets referencing back to the possibility of a trade.
Oh, and just a reminder, the trade deadline is November 2nd.
