The New Orleans Saints' new Pro Bowler is about to make a little bit more money.
On Wednesday afternoon, the star linebacker Demario Davis was chosen to play in the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada. Davis was the only Saints player to make the Pro Bowl this season out of some notable candidates like Cam Jordan, Tyran Mathieu, and Chris Olave.
Making the Pro Bowl means that Davis earned an incentive from his contract. When he signed, he came to an agreement to add a $500 thousand bonus for when he makes the Pro Bowl, making him that much richer.
Surprisingly this is Davis first Pro Bowl, which is crazy considering he has been one of the league's best at the position for quite some time now.
The former Arkansas State linebacker has 89 tackles and 6.5 sacks on the season and could end with more.
He is playing his tail off and is every bit of deserving the selection and the money.
