The Buffalo Bills (6-2) are everybody’s pick to win the Super Bowl this season, no matter how flawed they are. The Bills’ second blemish on their record came with a 20-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
The Jets, who boast one of the league’s weakest rushing attacks, managed to rush for 174 yards against the Bills. Not to mention that they did so with starting running back Breece Hall done for the season.
The Philadelphia Eagles (8-0) sat at home and watched the world burn on Sunday as the only unbeaten team in the league after picking up their eighth win over the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football.
The Eagles win wasn’t pretty by any means, but no matter how poorly they play this team always finds a way to come out with a victory.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen is dominating most of the MVP conversations around the league, but passing for 18-of-34 for 205 yards and two interceptions should be enough for him to take a bit of a fall.
The Eagles are afforded the luxury of extra rest after downing the Texans. Philadelphia will gear up for a Monday Night Football showdown against the Washington Commanders.
Whether the Eagles get their due respect from the talking heads around the football world or not, it doesn’t matter.
Philadelphia isn’t begging anybody to talk about them. That being said, as long as they continue to impose their will there won’t be a conversation the Eagles are left out of.
