The New Orleans Saints injury report looked a bit different than usual. What I mean by that is, for once the injury report might favor them, as we know injuries have been something that has haunted their 2022 season.

This year injuries have been terrible all-around, for every team in the league. There are players getting hurt that never get hurt. But, that is just the sport. It's the most violent American sport.

For the Saints, though, they have had what feels like more injuries than anyone, and at one time did have the most injuries in the league.

This time, though, it's not just them dealing with injuries.

For the Buccaneers, Cameron Brate (illness), Mike Edwards (hamstring), Antoine Winfield (ankle), and Tristan Wirfs (ankle/knee) all have not practiced Thursday or Friday. This is crucial because all of these guys are key pieces and are all starters.

Vita Vea (foot), Russell Gage (hamstring), and Sean Murphy-Bunting (quad) have all been limited Thursday and Friday, and are also all very key players on the Buccaneers. Gage and Vea are both starters while Murphy-Bunting is a second-string guy.

While you never want a guy hurt, whether it is on the other team, a team you hate, or not, you do love for the Saints to finally have the advantage in an area like this, something that hasn't happened all year for them.
