The New Orleans Saints were left for dead.

It was for good reason, though.

After the heartbreaking choke against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just a few weeks ago, the division was pretty far out of reach. That was their chance to take it by the reigns and control their own destiny. They failed to make it happen.

Since then, it hasn't been pretty, but they've stayed alive in the NFC South.

The last two weeks have certainly showed one characteristic about this Saints' team, though.

They have no quit in them.

Fans may want Dennis Allen fired. Heck, even media members have mentioned the possibility after the season.

The Saints have certainly disappointed this year under Allen, but these last couple wins show that his team is still putting it all on the line right now.

Yesterday's game was played in the most frigid conditions that any players have experienced. They still worked their rears off on both sides of the ball.

The defense played one of their best games of the season on the ground and through the air. They kept the top on star Browns running back Nick Chubb. The Saints also didn't let Deshaun Watson complete much at all downfield.

On offense, the first half was rough. They bounced back when they got back to their bread and butter, though. Taysom Hill and Alvin Kamara dominated the second half for the Saints, and they took the lead.

New Orleans never looked back after that.

No one knows how the season will finish in the win/loss column for the Saints. Regardless, you can no longer their commitment and determination under Dennis Allen.
