The Kansas City Chiefs have a difficult task on their hands. I mean, let's be honest, they have a few things going against them.

First, let's start with this. The Denver Broncos roster is not the worst in the league. They have some players who can play ball on both sides of the ball.

“Yeah so, their receivers are good receivers and (Jerry) Jeudy is really a good player," Andy Reid said. "Listen, they played well against us last time a few weeks ago. The quarterback had some big runs and Jeudy (had) some big catches and then their defense played well against us."

The stat sheet won't say it because of how bad their offense is. However, Jeudy has been on fire, and he did do some damage against the Chiefs.

Jeudy may very well be the Broncos' best player on offense, and honestly, I don't think it's close. His route running and speed have been the only real bright spot of their offense, and could still hurt the Chiefs on Sunday.

We saw that a few weeks ago.

In the last four games, Jeudy has had at least 65 receiving yards, including 117 last week against the Rams. Against the Chiefs, he had 73 yards and three touchdowns. I guess you could say he torched them.

"We have to make sure we’re on our ‘A’ game. They already have our attention from our last game – whatever they did with (former Broncos Head Coach Nathaniel) Hackett or didn’t do with Hackett – they had our attention. We know we’ve got to be ready. So that’s there,” Reid continued.

There is something about the first game after your coach gets fired, and I think we all know where I'm going with this. The Chiefs are unlucky in this case, to be the team that has to play another one after firing their coach because they usually always win that first one after.

Even if we want to think this one will be easy, one that the Chiefs have in the bag, just look at their last game against the Broncos. The Chiefs went up 27-0, but Denver came right back with 21 straight and made it a game.

Jeudy was a large reason why the Broncos were able to come back and stay in that game. Even though they won't have their head coach anymore, they still have Jeudy, and he can still do some work against a young Chiefs secondary.
