Nearly every day it seems like there's another amazing Patrick Mahomes stat that pops up.
Mahomes is only 26 years old and he's already a Super Bowl champion, a Super Bowl MVP, a four-time Pro-Bowler, and an NFL MVP, among other impressive accolades.
On Sunday, when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game, Mahomes will add another notable stat to his resumé.
Mahomes will become the first player in NFL history to start four straight conference championship games before the age of 27.
There have been a lot of great quarterbacks who found success early in their careers — Tom Brady, for example, won his first Super Bowl when he was 24.
But no one in the history of the sport has been as consistently successful as Mahomes.
It's a bit premature to call Mahomes a future Hall of Famer — he has a lot of career yet and a lot could still go wrong (though that seems unlikely).
But it's getting awfully hard to not imagine him putting a gold jacket on one day.
