Tennessee Vols wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. made a name for himself as one of the best players at his position in the SEC in 2021.
He finished the season in Josh Heupel's speedy offense with 807 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns and was the No. 8 most prolific wideout in the league (62.1 yds per game).
As a result of his nice season, Jones was invited to participate this week in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL.
The Senior Bowl provides an exciting opportunity for players to show off their skills to pro scouts and fans alike, and Velus did just that on Friday.

The move was nasty, the route and catch were clean, and then he hopped up off his back like he was spring-loaded. Flatout, Jones is stud athlete and it shows.
Hopefully what he does in the Senior Bowl and in workouts in the coming weeks will land him a spot on an NFL roster. I get the feeling that whatever team picks up the former Vol will be happy they did.
