The Memphis Grizzlies (-5.5) travel down to Atlanta to face off against Trae Young and the Hawks with the total set at 237.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Parlay: Memphis Grizzlies ML + OVER 237.5 points (+164)

While this might come off as basic, there is plenty of reasoning behind this play. The Grizzlies are winners of four straight games entering tonight’s fixture. Point guard Ja Morant has been bothered by back soreness as of late which forced him to miss the Grizzlies’ last contest.

Memphis has fared surprisingly well with Morant absent from the lineup this season. The Grizzlies are 13-2 without its All-Star point guard, including a lopsided 135-102 win over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

However, nobody is going to argue that the Grizzlies are a better team without one of the NBA’s most talented point guards. Averaging 27.5 PPG, Morant’s offensive production will be a welcome return to the Grizzlies’ lineup.

Not only does Memphis hold the NBA’s second-best record, but they are the league’s best team against the spread. The Grizzlies are 45-25 against the number on the season, but will be playing its third consecutive road game in Atlanta, which makes the moneyline the safe play.

Good teams win, great teams cover.

Atlanta and Memphis both rank in the NBA’s top 10 in scoring offense, which makes for such a lofty total. As for the Hawks, Young has scored 40 points seven times on the year, including twice in his last three games.

Betting the over has been a lucrative strategy in games for each team this season. For the Grizzlies, the over has cashed at a 55.2% clip while the Hawks are soaring over the total at a 53.6% rate.

The over has hit in each of the last four games for Memphis and twice in the last three contests for Atlanta. With both offenses clicking, the over is the way to go tonight.
