Pro Football Focus believes there's one final offseason move the Cincinnati Bengals should make.
Doug Kyed, an NFL writer for PFF, suggested this week that Cincinnati should sign free agent defensive tackle Eddie Goldman to a free-agent deal.
The Bengals lost defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi in free agency, and they only replenished the position by drafting Florida’s Zachary Carter in the third round. Goldman, 28, struggled in 2021 with a 39.8 overall defensive grade after opting out for the 2020 season, but he earned an 83.7 overall defensive grade across the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Goldman spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears after being selected in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
The former Florida State standout has been moderately productive as a pro, averaging 34 tackles and 1.5 sacks per year over the last four seasons.
Cincinnati could certainly use some depth along their defensive line — especially at the defensive tackle position.
Signing Goldman wouldn't be a major offseason splash by any means, but it would give the Bengals some security at defensive tackle while also improving depth, which can be a key difference between a win and a loss.
The Bengals have one of the best rosters in the NFL right now. Adding Goldman would just make Cincinnati even more of a lock to win the AFC North for a second straight season.
