The Tennessee Titans have lost four games in a row.

The defense has shown flashes of inconsistency. The offense has been brutal for most of that span. Tempers are flaring, and emotions are running high for the Titans right now.

The AFC South race is tightening. There's one spunky team that is giving the Titans all they can handle at the lowest moment of their season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are fresh off of two massive wins. They thrashed the Titans last week. This week, they completed a dynamic comeback with an overtime victory against the 10-win Dallas Cowboys.

Their offense looks explosive, and their defense is making massive plays when they mean the most.

You could basically say that the Jags are everything that the Titans are not at the moment.

They are exciting. Jacksonville is getting chunk gains through the air. Their defense is making plays on the back end that few others are making in the AFC at the moment.

They have a lot of belief, and that sort of belief is dwindling for the Titans.

Luckily, the Titans can still control their own destiny. They just need to get back on track, but that's easier said than done.

Not to mention, their week 18 matchup with the Jaguars looks much more daunting than it did a month ago. The Titans would need to put last week's embarrassing defeat behind them and come out as a different team against Jacksonville to end the season.

There's a scenario where that game will decide the division. The Jags have made up ground on the Titans rather quickly.

Can Tennessee nip it in the bud before it's too late?

Only time will tell. As of now, the Jaguars have life in the AFC South.
