The Tennessee Titans' offense has been in the mud as of late.
For most of the season, inconsistency has been a massive problem for them. As injuries have piled up, the offensive line has had more and more issues. Now, almost their entire unit is made up of backup players.
Multiple of those pieces aren't starter level in the NFL right now. Their depth is being tested to an insane degree. Offensive tackle Dennis Daley has caught tons of flack this season.
In Saturday's loss to the Texans, Daley was rough once again for the Titans.
For Titans' fans, this is a scene they have seen far too much this year.
Daley isn't just getting beat. On multiple reps per game, he just doesn't look prepared. He's out of sync with the rest of the offensive line and his quarterback.
Daley has been their "top" option at offensive tackle depth, but he hasn't gotten the job done whatsoever. His pressure rate is the worst in the NFL among offensive tackles.
His sacks allowed percentage is historic.
Of course, it's the worst kind of history. He's allowing sacks more often than any other OT since 2014, according to Pro Football Focus.
The Titans seemingly don't have another option on the roster to replace Daley due to the other injuries on the team. If they did, they would play that player. They clearly feel as though he is the player that has the most knowledge of the offense in order to play the position, though.
Regardless, his struggles have made this losing streak even more painful for the Titans.
