There was a shock sent through the stadium today when the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Chargers faced off in an AFC battle.

It wasn't from the ending of the game. It was when Titans' quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered a gruesome foot injury.

The images of it weren't pretty, and he was carted off the field. Most of the time, that means there won't be a return to the game for that player. That wasn't the case for the Titans' signal caller. He came back into the game.

There's no doubting Tannehill's toughness and commitment to the Titans.

He discussed the injury and his pain after the game.

Tannehill came back into the game and made some big throws for the Titans. He didn't play the cleanest second half, but he definitely competed.

His offensive line did him no favors, either. Nate Davis left the game with injury. Offensive Tackle Dennis Daley struggled mightily once again.

It will be interesting to see how much Tannehill practices this week. His status for next week is unknown as of right now.
