Tennessee's offense has been on another plane of existence from the rest of college football in 2022. The Vols have the No. 1 scoring offense and No. 1 overall offense in America. Oregon, the No. 2 overall offensive team nationally, trails UT's per-game output by more than 15 yards. It's pretty outlandish and has been an absolute blast to watch.
It's so good, in fact, that one former Vol is wondering why more teams don't try to imitate what Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel is doing offensively. Former Vols offensive lineman Ramon Foster joined us on the Big Orange Podcast this week and told us that he's "shocked" that more teams don't try to integrate some of UT's offensive concepts.
